The Egyptian Goddess Bastet has been worshipped as a fertility, protector, and war goddess for more than 4 millennia. She is usually shown as a slender woman with the head of a cat, but she is so much more than that!
We discuss Bastet in depth, and touch on her epithets, iconography, and ties to other deities of the time. Between her luxurious temples, raucous festivals, and her varied background, there’s so much to talk about. As always, we also list some correspondences that can be used in conjunction with her worship.
